General conditions of use

The Internet Portal is in principle accessible to users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except in the event of interruption, whether scheduled or not, for maintenance purposes or in the event of force majeure. In the event that access to the Website is not possible, SIMON Law undertakes to do its utmost to restore access.

SIMON Law shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss or expense resulting from the use of this Website, or from the inability of a third party to use it, or from a malfunction, interruption, virus or line or system problem.
SIMON Law shall not be held liable for any damage of any nature whatsoever resulting from the unavailability of this Internet Portal.
The Internet Portal is regularly updated by its Publication Director. Similarly, the legal notices may be modified at any time without prior notice: they are nevertheless binding on the user who is invited to refer to them as often as possible in order to take cognizance of them.

Similarly, the Internet Portal contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, private or official. However, SIMON Law does not have the possibility to monitor and check the content of these third-party sites, and consequently will not assume any responsibility for this. SIMON Law shall not be held liable in any way for the presence of a link to its Internet Portal from a third-party site.
It is possible to create a link to the Internet Portal without the express permission of the publisher, provided that the link opens a new browser window. The original site must indicate the e-mail address of the second site when referring the user. The address must be clear and legible. However, SIMON Law reserves the right to request the removal of a link that it deems to be inconsistent with its editorial policy.

The user undertakes, in the free comment areas, to be as factual as possible and not to submit any content that is potentially unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene, discriminatory, threatening or false. The user has ensured that the attachments he or she submits respect copyright, good morals and the rights of individuals, in particular the right to an image and respect for privacy.
SIMON Law cannot be held responsible for the content of comments for which it is not the author. SIMON Law will reject any message that is objectionable or that does not comply with the rules of these General Terms of Use.
The information appearing on the Internet Portal is provided for information purposes only and shall not be deemed to have any pre-contractual or contractual value.

For access to certain services, the user may be asked to use an identifier and a password. These elements are personal and strictly confidential, the user commits to not divulge them to anyone, in any form whatsoever and for any reason whatsoever, and to immediately inform the publisher of any use by an unauthorized third party. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of his identifiers.

Messages that pass through the Internet network can be intercepted. Until they reach us, their confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Make sure you do not disclose unnecessary or sensitive personal information.
Any Internet user located abroad undertakes to leave the Internet Portal if all or part of its content contravenes the legislation of his or her State, the holder of the Internet Portal declining all responsibility in such a situation.

Any Internet user who believes that the Internet Portal infringes his or her personal rights (defamation, copyright, etc.) undertakes to inform the owner of the Internet Portal, prior to any legal proceedings, in order to allow the spontaneous cessation of the infringement if it is proven.
The owner of the Internet Portal undertakes to withdraw any representation of a work or a brand that would infringe rights protected under intellectual property law.

The SIMON Law brand and all other trademarks mentioned on the Website are protected by applicable provisions of Luxembourg and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property.

SIMON Law is the owner or holds the rights of use on all the elements accessible on the Internet Portal, in particular: texts, photos, videos, images, icons, drawings, animated sequences and all works available on the Internet Portal are protected by copyright. All reproduction rights are reserved, including for downloadable documents and iconographic and photographic representations as well as animated sequences.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the Internet Portal, whatever the means or the process used, is prohibited, except prior written authorization of the editor.
The Internet Portal respects the copyright. All the rights of the authors of the protected works reproduced and communicated on this Portal, are reserved.

Any use of information from the Internet Portal must mention the source of the information and the address of the Internet Portal must be included in the reference.

Any unauthorized use of the platform or of any of the elements it contains will be considered as constituting an infringement and will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Intellectual Property.

Certain illustrations, photographs and multimedia resources are covered by intellectual property rights held by third parties and cannot, as such, be reused without their agreement. We therefore invite you to contact us if you wish to reuse such content.
SIMON Law shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss or expense resulting from the use of this Website, or from the impossibility for a third party to use it, or from a malfunction, interruption, virus or line or system problem.
